Crazy weather, yoga, and randomness

Week long entry = short essay. Under cut in consideration of people's friends list.

Been a week since I posted an entry. Totally fluked my Asian Studies exam, didn't study at all. Hope I pass. -_-; The day overall was fun though. We had lunch at 'The Orange Place'. Haha. Should really find out what it's called. Then got ice-cream and drinks. I can't believe we all drank before the exam. Bad bad bad. Ness, this is your influence. J/k Love ya anyways Nessa-chan ♥.

The weather's so nice today. 「今日の天気はいいですよ。」[今天的天气很好。] ^.^ Practicing my languages. I swear this month has got to be one of the weirdest months that I remember, weather wise. I mean, 28ºC one day then hail and snow the next? In the middle of spring nevertheless. And yesterday was like 37ºC. The world is so going downhill.

Haven't really been doing much since finishing exams. Spent the weekend out with Fiona for her birthday. Haha Fi, how's it feel to be 20 now? Lol probably same old same old. 21 next year.. scary stuff. Went DFO, bought heaps of stuff! There were lots of sales but the only summer item I bought were a pair of shorts. Between us we bought quite a few jumpers and jackets. Had time to kill afterwards before dinner so we went to walk around IKEA. Lol, we were imagining what it would be like to have our own houses, and oohing over pretty stuff and criticising Ikea's non-practical displays. Dinner was at Mosskito in Clifton Hill. The servings were huge and we felt sick all night afterwards. O_O Highlight of the day: Fiona taking to 10 mins to put on a jacket one size too small for her then trying to convince me that she could move fine in it. (She couldn't) XD

Started going to Bikram Yoga classes with mum, Fi and Jen on Monday. It's probably the most intense thing I've ever done. 1.5hrs in a room heated to about 37-38ºC with minimal ventilation, doing yoga positions of various degrees. It doesn't sound hard, I mean you think of yoga and people get the idea its all relax and slow and stuff. But that's not it at all. Dealing with being able to do the positions (seeing as I'm not fit nor very flexible) while coping with the massive heat is really intense. I've only had 2 classes and will continue going to classes for the next 8 days as part of the introductory program.

While in both classes I've had moments where I thought "Why am I doing this to myself? I feel dizzy, nauseas and overall sick. Why am I torturing myself?" Well, because 1. mum told me to. Not a good reason I know but it happens to be one. And 2. The feeling you get after the class. After sticking it through for 90 mins and taking a shower to wash off all the sweat (I've sweat more in the last 2 classes than my entire life I think), you leave feeling a little tired at first but very much refreshed. I think I managed to give it a little more in my 2nd class so I'm sore in many places today but I will go back again tonight and tomorrow because everyone tells me it will get better. All the aches and pains just shows how bad a shape my body is in at the moment. After the introductory program I think I'll continue it but not as frequently. Me and the cousins were also thinking of taking up tennis as well.

Random list for the week:
» Mum tried to limit my computer usage. I agreed but now I just try not to let her know I use it.
» Marcia Hines performed at Westend in Sunshine. wtfomg? o.O That's down the street from me.
» "Oo..sh!" -Quote me. I was trying to saying 'Oh shit' while driving. Came out as 'oosh'. Fi will never let me hear the end of it.
» "Let's get a baby!" -Quote Fi. We saw some nice bags at Toys'r'us that would make great uni bags. But they were diaper bags. Hence Fi's line. -_-;
» Hanging out the laundry before. Saw a tag on mums shorts. "Styled to reduce fire danger." WTF? o.O

- Di-chan, Ness-chan, Maggie-chan; let me know when you guys want to meet up ok? Anyday's good for me.
