This sounds so exciting. I'm so glad you liked it but... errr... horror is so very much not my genre. I do like Capaldi but I've found the horror episodes very difficult. I really want to like DW again.... Thanks so much for the awesome post. Were there any other interesting questions? I do like the KIDNEYS!
Not really horror, maybe more of a Steampunk/Gothic type of horror since the premiere is set in Victorian London. I would say it's more on the level of Girl in the Fireplace, that show with the slightly creepy robotic villains and Madame du Pompadour.
Hmm. I'm trying to remember the other panel questions... who is their favorite Doctor and Companion... one person mentioned how much they liked Vastra/Jenny relationship... Peter Capaldi talked a bit about how he picked his costume from the vast amount of clothing and accessories there were (pretty much tried a ton of different looks before settling on the current one). I think most of the really relevant/interesting questions were in the highlight reel. Oh yes, there was one person that asked about a possible Malcolm Tucker/Doctor Who crossover (was that in the highlights reel?) and Peter replied that Who is more of a family friendly show
( ... )
Hey, this is great! It sounds like a really exciting and fun time. :) Thanks for telling all about it, and the links. (loved the close-up of the badge!)
Yep, it was pretty neat! Apparently the premiere was longer than an hour which probably contributed to the lateness of the evening (we wrapped up around 10:30pm).
