Last Year's 3-Sentence Ficathon has rolled into 2014...

... and it's still going, last I checked. So at some point, I went back to the beginning and filled some of the earlier prompts that were still unclaimed.

Prompt from snitchnipped: Narnia/Doctor Who, Susan and Clara and Eleven, two impossible girls

"It's so much smaller on the outside," Susan observed as she circled the exterior of the TARDIS, one hand gently skimming the blue panels on each side as she glided gracefully from corner to corner, "smaller, but no less extraordinary than what can be found within."

The Doctor smiled briefly, pleased at the woman's appreciation of his beloved blue box, but he suddenly frowned and turning to to his other (grinning) companion, asked, "Are you absolutely sure she's not a relation, Clara? You-the Victorian barmaid cum governess you-said nearly the exact same thing to me when you first saw the TARDIS."

Prompt from starbrowsings: Reign, Mary/Francis, it's better to feel pain than nothing at all/the opposite of love's indifference

Everyone in the great hall saw how Francis escorted Olivia out-his arm wrapped tightly around her waist, her golden head resting on his shoulder just so-and soon, all eyes turned to her, watching and waiting to see what the Queen of Scotland would do next.

Mary refused to give any of them-in particular, Queen Catherine-that satisfaction; her heart and head ached but she kept a neutral expression on her face, a look of concern as if she was more worried for Olivia's health and safety than her own. She was a Queen and she knew better than to reveal her true thoughts so openly in a court full of political intrigue such as this.

Prompt from eternal_moonie: Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Jafar/Sultan, Son aka Jafar finally gets what he wants from his father the sultan.

His father gave an anguished cry and collapsed, eyes rolling wildly in his nearly bloodless face while his body shook violently on the cage floor. Jafar felt nearly the same and gripping the cobra head of his staff as firmly as he could to steady himself, he wondered if the large quantity of blood each man had given (or taken from, in the case of his father) was a price worth paying to complete the complex ritual.

The spell worked and his father spoke the words which he promised he would never utter but instead of feeling victorious, Jafar realized he gained no satisfaction from finally hearing them.

Prompt from starbrowsings: Narnia, Jill/Eustace, getting in and out of scrapes

"Pole, I don't think today was the best time to go exploring the moors," Eustace complained as he and Jill trudged slowly back to the school, their clothes plastered to wet skin, arms covered with nicks and scratches from the shrubbery, and their legs covered knee deep in mud as the rain came down thicker and heavier than before; it seemed they were trying to walk through a forest of waterfalls instead of trekking across the English countryside. With a groan, he added, "By the Lion, I feel like I've turned into a Marshwiggle."

"Exactly, Scrubb," Jill replied happily, uncaring of their appearance and the fact that she and Scrubb may end up nursing colds over the holidays instead of enjoying life away from Experiment House, "feels just like we're in Narnia, doesn't it?"
