Mildew part deux
Well, I spent the entire day yesterday scrubbing walls with bleach, plasticing over windows and doors on the third floor to try to keep the temperature up a bit and hopefully help with condensation. It's frustrating to lose a day of work at this point, but it had to be done. Amanda's mom came up and so Amanda was able to work all day too. And the kids had a *great* time playing with her.
There's a lot of clothes and papers that need to be moved and cleaned, that's what Amanda's been working on now. And one door left to be sealed off once some work is done behind it. I'm hoping that will make a big difference in cutting down condensation. If not Amanda's going to go batty!
Well, I should get to work. Nothing like an emergency to layer on top of your other emergencies! I'm still glad I stayed up to watch Obama's acceptance speech, but all my thought and intrest on that topic has dissipated, like mildew in the wind.
