Man, I get randomly nostalgic for the swim team, too, sometimes. But it's also a lot of work. Maybe instead of officially joining the club as an extra-extra curricular activity, maybe just go to the pool and swim when you have some free time? It'll be much more relaxing that way, and you won't be at risk of overburdening yourself.

eeee ♥ fellow swimmer? I miss it so very much OMG. But it is.

Practice is half the fun, though. IDK if swimming on my own whenever I can would be the same. I have to talk to the coach and ask her what's the deal and if I can just do part time or sth.

Hell yes! For ten years (n-not ten years straight, though)! What strokes do you do? :D

Hmmm, that's true. I found practices rewarding, but totally exhausting. So I guess I'm more of the kind of person to enjoy free-swimming. But maybe talking it over with the coach would be good, yeah.

I went to swimming practice today! \^o^/ ♥ The coach's totally cool with letting me be in the practice whenever I have the time/inclination/etc. I think she secretly wants to rope me into the official team but let's not look at that yet. ;;;

Butterfly used to be my strong suit! o/ But I also love crawl and breast so those are the ones I can handle best. I'm kinda aching for lack of practice but I loved it. LOL I hear you about the exhausting part. x);;

a;sdgjadfjg; g-god I failed at butterfly so bad. I only ever did the crawl and backstroke. Your abs must have been frickin' amazing if you could do butterfly. /a-always so impressed with people who can do butterfly OTL

Bawwww you're making me all nostalgic for swim team, too. ;3;

LOL not really. ;;; I had a hint of abs that sort of faded away when I stopped swimming regularly. Maybe they'll show up again if I keep it up. x);;

/huggg Any chances of you swimming again too?

ffffff that's better than me. I was such a lazy swimmer, plus I have asthma so my coaches never wanted me to work too hard. =3=;;

I'm thinking about it, actually! At the very least, I'll take a swimming class next term or something, who knows? I definitely don't have the time to be on a team, since I have a lot of reading homework most days, but we'll see. Maybe I'll just do some intramural swimming over the summer.

But swimming must have been great for your breathing, then! Though I'm sure it was good not to overexert yourself.

Sounds awesome! ^o^ I really found it relaxing and energizing today. But that's also a lot because I missed it so much.

Yeah, it definitely helped. And it was just good for keeping me in shape and everything. Even if the swimsuits were tight and stupid and I hated them, lol.

Baaah, I bet! I think it'd probably be the same for me. I'm really craving physical activity. I spend most of my days at Kiseki or doing all my homework. Neither of which are really, exercising, unless you count typing and writing as hand exercises e_e;;

I totally hate the dumb caps. |D;; Getting my hair all squished inside those hurts my soul. That was the part of swimming I didn't miss. ;;;

Pffft. But Kiseki's great for developing strong and fast fingers! /shot

OH MY GOD. Those dumb caps. asldghalsdh; I hated them so much. I hated tucking my ears into them, too, because it was just so dinky. I mean, I know it makes you go faster and all that, but still...

lol but everyone already yells at me for, like, taking twenty seconds to respond to tags |D;;; So probably developing faster typing skills wouldn't work out well for everyone. Dun dun dunnnn

Jesus Christ the ears... That sort of hollow feeling when you dive and the cap's all plastered against them......URRRRGH. Well, everything has its downsides. >.<

Baaw. I at least won't ever yell at you for that. ♥ I love fast-paced RPing.

YES. Oh geez. And taking them off just feels so strange. Or having to put them back on after your hair is already wet. It sucked for me, because my hair was always at that length where it's too short to put up into a pony-tail, but long enough that it's a hassle to get the damn cap on. It was always so annoying having to tuck all my hair up into it.

D'awww, thank you Val. ♥ It's not so much yelling as it is Ana and JL going "lol wtf that took like thirty seconds to respond =A="

I have, like, looooong hair. Seriously too long for the caps. ;;; I let it grow longer the years I wasn't swimming anymore so, putting on the cap today after all this time? Not fun. But it's still worth the pain and the horrific flat hair.

They're just jealous. =3=♥

Goodness! The longest my hair's ever been was shoulder-length, and even that was a pain sometimes. Ahahaha but at least you eventually got it in? And I agree, it's easy to overlook the caps when you get to swim and practice and all that. /loves doing flip-turns lol

OH YEAH. But I have to start struggling with the dorky thing like five minutes before I actually start with the practice. =3=;; /omg same here ♥
