Just my thoughts...
Sorry.. no icons this time. I'm going to be working on getting tons of screencaps the next couple of days. Then I can go wild with my icon-making skills again. I just felt like expressing my thoughts tonight.
Just watched American Idol. I was literally falling asleep through most of it... I'm sorry, but these GUYS can't sing! I thought the ladies did so much better... with one giant exception. TAYLOR HICKS! He totally blew me away. I haven't been this excited about an American Idol contestant since Clay Aiken. I am loving this guy.. he is truly an original. It helps that I love Elton John, and he did the song "Levon", a really good song. Honestly, though, he can really sing! I love his voice and his gray hair.. hehe. There were a couple of other guys who were not that bad.. Ace did pretty good as did the bald rocker guy. (I can never remember names.) The one Simon said was the best in the entire competition... ick. I hated him. Pretty much everyone else sucked. Please stop comparing that one dude to Clay... he's nowhere near as good as my beloved Clay! (Yep, I'm a huge Clay Aiken fan.) And please please please, no more Bucky! Yuck!!!
As for the ladies, I have two favorites there as well. Problem is, I don't remember their names. I like the heavy black girl the best. I think she's the best of the women. I also like the blonde that followed afterwards.. the country girl whose father's in prison. She has a very pretty voice, although it didn't show too well the other night. I thought overall the woman did pretty good, better than the dudes anyway.
My favorite in the competition... Taylor Hicks. I hope he is the next American Idol. Case closed.
Ok enough about AI. How about some thoughts about ER? Well, I just found out there will only be two new episodes in March.. and then no new episodes until the END OF APRIL! You have got to be kidding me! We have to wait a month for new episodes!! And I thought the Olympics was bad. I guess the only good thing is once they start again in April, I'm betting they will air only new episodes until the season finale. Please don't make us wait for Abby's big day!! I have to see that baby born this season!
