American Idol Chit Chat
I can honestly say I'm over my anger from the loss of Mandisa last week. I still say it wasn't right, but I'm rooting for Taylor all the way so I'll just put all my energy into him.
Speaking of... he was AWESOME tonight! He did "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and he did it so well. He was true to himself, dancing around like the crazy man he is, and I was loving every second of it. Taylor is back! YAY! The audience loved it, Randy and Paula loved it, and I think America loved it. Simon needs a whack across the head, but what the hell else is new?
My other favorite is no longer my other favorite. Kellie has finally gotten on my last nerve. Seriously, I really like her voice when she does country, but I'm so sick of the dumb blonde thing. I don't care if it's an act or real, I'm just tired of it. It gets old. I thought her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody was awful... it was just too damn strange. As far as voices go, I think she has a beautiful country voice and love to hear her sing, but I'd rather not hear anymore of what comes out of her mouth otherwise. Sorry Kellie.
Paris tonight.. holy hell, did you see that outfit??? She's 16!!!! I was waiting for her mother to come up on the stage hollaring, "Oh, hell no!" My mother said all she needed was a whip and a pair of handcuffs and it would be complete. *Snort* I have no idea how she did because I was too busy gawking at her and expressing my disbelief that she'd wear something like that. Two words.. jail-bait.
I don't like Katherine. I know I'll probably be unpopular for saying that, but I just do not like her. I can't help it. There's just something about her voice that annoys me. When she hits the high notes, she makes my ears bleed. She seems nice enough.. guess she's just not my cup of tea.
Chris.. awesome voice, but the dude is way too hard rock for me. If I wanted to listen to that kind of music I would not be watching American Idol. I'm a pop/country/soft rock kinda girl.
Actually liked Elliot this week. He did really well. Normally I'm not a fan, but I have to give him his props. (God, I've been watching this show too long.)
Bucky and Ace... why oh why are they still there??? Especially Ace... the man cannot sing! Please please let him go home tomorrow!!!
