Loving My Life!!!
The last week or so has been amazing. Ended 664 Lowes, began Bedford Lowes, got my puppy, saved my kitty, and loving like i never have. :)
Monday was my last day at 664 Lowes and i had to close which sucked! I get off at a lil after 10, get home a lil before a 11, take care of the cat and dog and get into bed around 12 and have to be back up at 5 to start at the Bedford Lowes. Whooo! Tried to get monday off on sunday, but Rodney my manager said no. That Bedford did not give them a early enough warning about it and i had to work.. He didn't exactly say i would get fired or written up, but it was clear i better show. Well, guess what? I wasn't supposed to be working at that store since last friday. I was supposed to have the weekend off to rest up and be ready for my multiple days of 10 hr shifts helping get the store ready for opening day. Yeah! After my new store manager found out what they did he wasn't to happy and neither was i. I could have had a 4 day weekend and time with lewlew and my new puppy! Oye! And if i hadn't said anything about them working me i would not have been paid for it. I wasn't on their payroll anymore, but on Bedford's and they didn't have record of it. Oye! Low i say, low! And Rodney said he didn't know till that Monday i was starting the next day when come to find out they knew 3 weeks earlier. Oye! But whatever i get 23 hrs of over time so i can't complain to much. But it hurts they can just lie like that with an employee they said was so good and they didn't want to leave blah blah.
Well, it's been 5 days at the new store and i'm having a ball. Getting up at 5am every morning has gotten easier. The first couple days was hard. Closing monday night and getting up at 5, tuesday night Mater runs away and doesn't come back. I called and searched all night till about 1am and forced myself to bed to get up at 5. Wednesday night i spent with Lewis at the emergency animal hospital with Mater fixing his leg and open hole wound on his stomach. He now has a tube sticking out of his stomach so the wound closes nicely without getting fluid in him and air bubbles and all that. He's doing good though. But its what he deserves for running off like that. Just sucks for me. Got a $340 vet bill. Whooooo! Thankfully thursday and friday night i have got the sleep i need and i aint so moody at work. LoL But back to that. I am one of the labeling girls. We are making labels for every item in the store. I basically sit on my butt for 10hrs typing and printing off a computer and goofing off with my girls and getting to know all the vendors and making friends. Gonna suck when they have to leave. One bought us M&Ms today as a peace offering since he was making us upset about redoing so many of his labels. LoL And one guy today, older gentleman that is a total sweety, gave me a shoulder massage as i was printing some of his labels. Totally was putting me right to sleep! LoL But yah, i'm loving my job. So, if you ever come to the store those are our stickers!!! :)
All the mangers rock too. Store manager loves to pick and makes up believe stuff that aint true. Josh loves to randomly sing songs to us while we make labels. Seth loves talking about him self and his motorcycles and getting on our nerves. The other 2 just pop in every now and then and again make fun of us and just goof off. They're great. It's gonna be a rockin' store. :)
Got to have dinner with my momma and daddy tuesday night. Went to the bridge with the puppy and ate at the pizza place. And Munchkin was soooo good! She just layed up in her chair, chewed on her ice we got her, and just napped while we ate. And of course got major attention from everyone that passed by. LoL Then they came back and hung out at the house for a while. It was really nice. Love those days!
And me and LewLew = amazing. Idk how to explain, but we are doing soooo well and the connection between us two is something totally new and fun and amazing. I'm loving it! Thought i wasn't gonna see him for about 4 days because of the hrs we work, but tonight he didn't have to go in till 10 so we had 2 hrs together. I was a very happy girl. :) But the kisses are longer and more you know... ;) He talks to me, holds me, and just treats me with so much love. I hope this feeling never goes away. He told me the other night in bed that he was falling so in love with me, a new kinda love toward me, and i thought i would just bust. And something he told me at Katie's a while back just brought tears to my eyes. The good kind. :) But yah, i have an amazing boy and i just have to tell you people. I wish everyone had this kinda love and feeling we have. It's totally something different and makes you have a smile all day long. :) Hmmmm
Well, i'm exhausted. Early shift again, but luckly sundays are 8-5 so i dont have to get up till 6. Whoop Whoop! LoL And my pup is about to totally kill my flip flop so i need to run. LoL Night y'all.
