Home alone
I thought I would post in here more. Nope....
I am been a very busy girl in my new back garden. Yes me!!! I have two green thumbs (along with ten numb fingertips) now ! I have never dug a single hole in the ground and now I have over thirty rose bushes (I put in a twenty gallon rose bush last week!) and dozens and dozens of other plants (the foxglove and hollyhock are my favorites). I have planted over 400 bulbs the last few weeks. It is going to be so beautiful in Spring. Of course I have no idea what I am doing. But I guess if I do not like it I can always just dig it up and change it out. Gardening has been really hard work. I have not done manual labor in years.
I am so proud of my backyard. It looks awesome already. My grandmother would be so very proud of me, she used to have the most beautful garden. Roses and the smell of roses will always remind me of her. I am going to start on the front yard today! Of course once the sun in not in the front. It is not easy to work in the yard when you are afraid of the sun. Thank god for sunblock. My son Ian has had a great time "Digging in the dirt". He has been playing with the worms and putting his feet in every bulb hole. It is harder to do it with him - but it is so much fun to do it togther.
Mike was gone all last week. I had Bunco at my house and my mom had to come up and take Ian out! I won Bunco! YEA $$$. They boys are at the park right now!!!!!
I went to the movies with Gina on Friday night. We saw "Bridget Jones 2" O me o my! I can not breath when Hugh Grant is on the screen. and Colin is not bad either. I was sweating during the whole movie. I had a great time!!!!!!! I went into labor (really) during the last "Bridget Jones"!! Hugh is not my favorite actor - but he sure does something for me! Yum yum. my favorite actor by far is DANIEL DAY-LEWIS!!! Oooo Daniel!!! :)
Ok off to do house stuff until the sun is not in the front.....
