A distinct lack of endings
I haven't finished a book since sometime in early June when i started reading Infinite Jest. This fact shocks and horrifies me to the point that i'm putting the DFW on hold so i can actually finish a book before the month is out. I still have over 300 (dense) pages to go in Infinite Jest and i know i won't finish it before the summer is over but his lack of endings is driving me mad, something needs to be done. I'll probably pick up Perdido Street Station where i left off or possibly try to breeze through Born to Run within the week so i can have some sense of closure with something. Crazy. And i call myself a book lover....
edit: I'm realising this isn't entirely true. I've listened to several audio books including Harry Potter 6 & 7, Bill Bryson's Shakespeare book, and Ian McEwan's Saturday. Phew, guess i'm not as bad off as i thought.
