In the spirit of full disclosure i feel that i need to let you all know that the photo of myself that i posted last night all twisted up in the fabric, while looking pretty rad, was misleading. It's not as if i blithely flipped up into the fabric, flicked my wrists a few times to twirl it around my body and then looked amazing for a picture. In reality Mason, the teacher, helped me haul my ass up, gave scooch by scooch instructions as to how i should orient my body, wrapped the fabric around my leg and placed it in my hand and told me to "pull". Once i caught sight of myself in the mirror i asked the two other girls there to go in my purse and take a picture of me with my iphone. So while it looks awesome, it's actually just smoke and mirrors. Or in this case a very brawny aerial instructor.
To be fair i did pretty much kick ass last night at class. Relatively speaking. I kicked my own ass compared to previous weeks so i'm happy with my progress. The way i see it it's just a matter of time till i take over the skies. Keep looking up.
