Writerly Frustrations

“I was working on the proof of one of my poems all the morning, and took out a comma. In the afternoon I put it back again.”

- Oscar Wilde

I have always found this quote a bit too appropriate at times, but this seems to be the common state of things for the past week. How is it one can make revisions of a rough draft and get down over 35k in under two months, then go to staring at a blank screen and wondering what the devil is this thing taking up space betwixt my ears, and why is it not functioning???

wtf, writing
