So after not having a real job for almost 3 years I got hired today at the Informational Literacy and Outreach Department. Everyone seems really nice and it's set hours so I don't have to worry about schedule conflicts and I can still have a life. Also,it works out bc I work afternoons so I can still keep my tutoring gig and I can still drive cars for Mitsubishi on saturdays. Actually, the two odd jobs I've fallen into this year will probably still make me more money in the long run but at least with this job I can meet connections for my major. I like this idea of sitting behind a desk in air conditioning too and not having to wash dishes or have grease stuck on my clothes late at night when I get out of work. It's not amazing money but for my experience and all it seems pretty good even if they just want me seasonal. I'm really excited about this whole desk job thing. It sounds alot less stressful and dirty. Plus I figured out I can make pretty good money while juggling the three. And I'm still going to take two classes this summer so I can try to keep on schedule and graduate a semester early. I should probably go talk to an advisor about my questions regarding the qualifications of what lit classes count towards the minor. I'm not sure if ENL and LIT classes count since they're 2000 level courses. Anyway, it'll be nice to feel less economically dependent on my father. Although, I've been pretty good about that this year anyway since I'm a cheap prob from scot blood to begin with.
Alas.
Sarah I have joined the nerdy sorority after all.
You should revolt and leave Wally World as soon as you can.
They have a dreadfully small section of books to ponder and no hemingway for sure.
