Today!
Today Elayne Marie (aka Ellie) is ONE MONTH OLD!!!!! Where did this first month go?
Things I have learned about my daughter in our first month together:
1. She loves to sleep on our chest
2. She likes to poo at night
3. Her poo stinks already (only to get worse when she begins to eat real food)
4. She smiles in her sleep, and melts our hearts!
5. She used to sleep more during the daytime, but now she is sleeping more and better during the night and less during the day!
6. She likes her bottles warm
7. She likes to be "burrito" wrapped
8. She is a daddy's girl!
9. She gives a warning cry, but if not fed quickly, she starts to scream at the top of her lungs.
...There are so many more things I can list, but the biggest thing that I have learned is that although motherhood is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH different than what I could have imagined, neither Jim or I could now picture our life without our little Ellie in it and we look forward to every horrible, beautiful, stressful, delightful, horrendous, exciting, heart wrenching and heart warming moment that we will have together with our daughter!
