So.....the big 26!

Well folks I am now 26 years old (as of yesterday) and as my sister Megan put it, I am now only 4 years away from being 30....thanks Megan. My birthday was nice, I had to work 9:30-6pm (as I am everyday right now, until school starts back up), then I went to pick Megan and Melissa. Jim made my favorite dinner that he makes, Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti noodles and sauce with garlic bread! Yummy. While Jim had the last slice of my work cake, Melissa, Megan and I had a slice of Dairy Queen ice cream cake! Yummy. Melissa and Megan ended up spending the night, Megan styled and cut my hair (I was ready for a change) and then this morning I ran them home and now I am getting ready for work.

It has been awhile since I've made an actual post. Lately, since Jim has been home more often he has been cooking delicious dinners every night, such as Chicken Parmesan, Homemade Stroganoff, Pork chops with a tangy sauce, and Spinach Lasagna! I am a spoiled, spoiled Wynnie girl!

On the entertainment front, we have been watching more movies again. Last weekend we went and saw The Golden Compass and I am Legend. I liked The Golden Compass, although Jim said it stunk. We both agreed that I am Legend was AWESOME! I will leave that at that, don't want to ruin anything for those who might go to see it. At home, Jim made me SUFFER through Clerks 2 and then we got to watch, Pirates At World's End. I thought it was awesome, but agreed with Jim that the fight scene could have been half as long.

On an interesting note, Megan, Jim and I were watching the Best Year Ever when I heard them say something about Harry Potter and dying in the last book. I asked them and they both said he died, I was in SHOCK! I immediately got on the best source of info evar.....Wiki and looked up the plot of the last book.....and discovered (yet again) that Jim and Megan are LIARS...well sorta. Anyways, point being-I now know the ending of the series and think maybe what Jim and Megan said should have REALLY happened.

So that is about it for now. We are planning on going to the zoo lights this weekend, to Jim's brother's house on Sunday and then we (me, Jim, Megan, and Melissa) are probably going to the Chinese buffet on Christmas day! Yay for no cooking!

Off to work, adios!
