I've always been a fan of Arlad's, it happened when a fic she wrote a year (?) ago turned me into an emotional mush. It was one of those fics that made me think and feel too much long after I've finished reading it. I guess it can be said that it changed me. I wouldn't go too far as saying it was life-changing, but it was definitely a catalyst to

Thank you for friending me back. I just finished your intro-post and it was really interesting, you ARE an interesting person. I can totally understand how you feel about your stay in Scotland, I also spent a year in Japan and it was AWESOME! There are no words enough to describe everything that I experienced there. I hope I can also visit Scotland, would really want to see some castles =D
I was so surprised to see that you are only 19, with how you write emotions, that was the last thing I was expecting. But I guess it's the experiences that matters.
I guess it's my turn to introduce myself, I'm 25, working in an American company here in the Philippines, single and enjoying it (too much, I think), and a reader too. I can't write to save my life but I love reading anything.
That's it, I guess.
By the way, happy to have made you smile SO much =D

There's something about living abroad, isn't there? Life is a bit more intense, because every day is so new. Wow, Japan! I'd love to go there one day! Scotland certainly has plenty of castles (and sheep!), it's a gorgeous, gorgeous country.
I think it's awesome you're enjoying being single! It's part of enjoying yourself, and finding out who you are... people who spend their lives being a couple don't ever learn to just BE themselves.
Reading is the best thing EVER (and I'm so happy you enjoy reading my stories!)

I forgot to ask if it would be ok to post links to your stories in my journal. I would really like some of my friends to read your stories too. I hope I'm not imposing. It's ok too if it's not the usual way for you. =D

I'm still kind of stressed, because even though I took one of my exams today, I have another one tomorrow, a 20 page research paper due on Wednesday, and a teacher just told us she wants ALL our notes typed up (and there's a lot of notes, argh) plus a 6 page essay, plus the exam. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
For elementary and middle school, the year usually ends on July 6, the poor kids. For highschool, May 30th, and then two weeks of final exams. University varies - mine finishes classes on May 30th, and then two weeks of final exams. Hopefully, I won't have to take any finals since I've done quite well on the monthly exams and on the different papers and essays *fingers crossed*
Hope you're well!!!
Hugs,
Sofia

I feel a lot better now after a good night's sleep, but I pity my workmates yesterday for dealing with a tired and irritable me. Although, I did try to make it up to them today *grins*
Goodluck on your exams and reports. You can definitely do it. *pats you on the back*
