The past few days have been alot better, thank God. And my doctors appointment is tomorrow so I don't have much longer to wait before I finally get some answers on the freakshow that is me. *smiles* It's raining hard outside, so much so that the windows are kinda rattling when the rain hits it.
We've pretty much finished shopping for Randy and all the girls (our nephew and neices). Now the only person left to shop for is my sister and we already know what to get her we just have to figure out when we're gonna head to Borders.
And in other news: Jean's allowed to talk to us again. She said that Mark was just having a bad day, that he didn't mean it, that kind of thing. I honestly worry about her. I sit there and ask myself "how can she just let him walk all over her and treat her like that?" then I always end up asking myself "how come you let David walk all over you and treat you like that?" And I realise that it's always easier said than done with these kinds of things. Guess the only thing I can do for her is let her know that I'm her friend. And that I'm here for her.
Jona might have a broken ankle. She fell or something (I don't really know the specifics obviously) coming back from Mandy's townhouse across the street. Honestly out of all the people in this apartment building I wouldn't have thought that she'd be the first to break something. She's usually so graceful...then Mandy told me that she was a little tipsy, which changed things. So for future reference: ice and snow + alcohol = bodily injury.
Jon and the cat are still sleeping so I have the whole place to myself. Though I'm quite tempted to go back to sleep for a few hours and see if my eye feels better. They keep watering so no matter where we go today I'm gonna end up giving people the impression that I'm crying. Which will then lead to them going "why are you crying?" and after I get frustrated with trying to explain to for the fifty millionth time I will end up not saying anything and coming off as a rude southerner. *sighs*
