Finally...an update part 1..the bad
Hey there. Been a while huh?
Anyways, me and the hubs went home for the holidays. It was fun some of the time, but most of the time it was just dull. Almost every other day we were down there we had to spend time at his family's house. No one really cares so much that I'm there as much they do there little war hero. Funny how certain events in life can make the people that ignored or dissaproved of you at one time turn their heads back in adoration. All I basically did was sit and play games ...ON MY DS!!! (so what I only have one ds game...and its a dating sim...Im still cool ._.* )
The worst day was the day they had set aside for snowboarding. The husband asked if he minded that we came along, to which they thought was a fabulous idea. As we arrive, we soon discover that they had no plan taking me snowboarding...just him (they really didnt even think of just taking me along to watch). All the while I could either just head home or stay back at their house with the grandparents. The husband opted to instead ride up there with me. We ran itno a damn snow drift on the way up and no one helped us. The inlaws had to turn back to find us still sitting there.
I pretty much stayed in the lodge the entire time playing my....DS!!!! (so what if it only has five games out for it...I still rock... ._.* )...and being very unhappy with the situation. When we finally headed back for home, we noticed the tank was litterally empty and had to coast downhill for 15 miles to the next gas station. It was some station in an indian reservation out in the middle of freakin nowhere, so the prices were somewhat steep.
That by far was the worst day I ever had that entire vacation.
