Not only have a read them, I unironically like them. (Except for, admittedly, the most recent novel, which I didn't enjoy.) Personally, I've come across a lot of people who read the Black Jewels trilogy and (imho) felt they had to get all eye-rolly about the series.

Also, I wanted to mention that your lj header is FABULOUS.

I've read the recent novel last weekend and there were a couple of moments in which I felt like throwing the book against the wall. Only my BFF has read the novels so far and she was the only one I could talk to about them... oh well... NOW I'VE GOT YOU! <3

Did those moments involve the Scelties? Because, yes. They definitely caused the desire to pitch the book in me. I was so grateful that I didn't end up buying that one.
