(no subject)
last night was horrible.
everything leading up to about 10pm was great.
i was falling asleep when i hear one of the cats puking. so i got up to see who it was and to clean it up. it was Krobie. next to his (sorry for the details) very liquidy almost water-like vomit, was two piles of diarrhea. automatically, that worries me. so i clean everything up, kiss him on his little head, and go back to bed, then i hear him getting sick again! he also was constipated, he kept walking into the litter box, attempted, and nothing happened. he seemed really uncomforable and would walk around the house, lay down for maybe one minute, go back to the litter box, and repeat. he vomited about 8 times within an hour and a half so we called the emergency vet hospital and they said that we should take him in, but we should be good until the morning. well i wanted to keep an eye on him for a while. and then he started puking up white foam...so i looked up on the internet what that mgiht mean (he has his rabbies vaccine so it wasnt rabies) and it said that if they are extremely dehydrated that they will just start puking their own saliva. okay, so sorry everyone for all of that detail. anyways, so im freaking out and drag keegan to go to the emergency vet hospital with me. they put some fluids in him to hopefully hydrate him and also give him nausea shot. but said to take him in for sure tomorro b/c what was going on really wasnt normal.
so poor keegan has to get up for work at 4:30 after not getting home until about 3..i drive him to work at 5 and come home a little afterwards. go find krobie who is laying on his side still gagging and looking like he is trying to take a crap, but just lying there! he looked so miserable. his eyes looked sooo tired and im sure that he hadnt had any sleep ALL night. so i took him right away back to the hospital and was there until about 8:30. they gave him more fluids and did some tests on him. nothing unusual showed up, except his pankrius(so?) level was higher, so they think that he might have pankiasitus(haha didnt even try to spell that one). and he had a temp of 104.7 and then when i was leaving it went up to 105.9. so i drove him to our normal vet at 9 for them to do more tests and treat him.
i am freaking out!! i am soo scared! i dont know if he is going to be alright or what is even wrong with him! i have had one and a half hours of sleep, and about seven hours of non stop crying. i just want my baby to be okay :( i love him sooo much! he has so much personality and so energetic and such a sweetheart!!
