meh. i think this talk of "settling" somewhere is just my dreamy way of desperately seeking someplace exciting.
right now i'm in the mountains of north carolina, see, and while it's nice to be isolated, i don't have the supplies to really go out into the bush. so i'm here in my dad's super-clean blandly-decorated mountain condo with 16 useless pillows on each bed. and i'm going crazy. i can't raise hell on the golf course like when i was a kid because it's not summer, so the golf carts aren't available for rent yet.
realistically, once i graduate, i'll bet i put all my stuff into storage and then jet off to teach esl in a continent i've never been to.
