A couple days ago I went to visit the childcare center at Evergreen, to examine the little rugrats and report on their behavior for my class. It was immediately obvious to me that I had not really spent any time with a group of children for a number of years... I pretty much just literally sat there and watched them play, making notes in my journal

isn't the childcare center an interesting place? it was where i realized that no matter how much of a child i might be, i'm nowhere near able to interact with most of them. i suppose i can't expect to be, considering how bad i was it when we were peers. you said that, though. it's an interesting thing, isn't it
