Turn Around

Yesterday a few things went RIGHT for a change. It all start when a complete stranger was nice to me. My friend, Kay, dropped me off around lunch time at my apt and as I was getting out of the car someone said "hey, I'm leaving if you want to have my parking spot." We didn't need a parking spot because it was just a drop off but the gesture was very nice. And then I was on a role in my geometry class. We were studying the 4th dimension. I grasped it pretty quickly and kept taking it further. Wow I'm such a geek, but it felt good to have my brain working again. I got some substancial practicing in yesterday. And my friends Dana, Maeve, and Paul took me out for Indian food last night. Not a fan of the spicyness but I've never had Indian food before and I love to try new things. Then I went back to school and practiced until about midnight. For any non music majors reading this, finding substancial practice time and having your motivation correspond is a really GREAT thing. Then this morning I woke up to an inspiring email from a former teacher. Even if everything goes back to the normal "everything goes wrong in Audrey's life" thing today, the email will get me through the day, maybe even the next few days even.
well, off to practice.
