"You thought I wanted this? You thought I wanted to bathe in a river, terrorize the townspeople of Scotland, and almost cause earthquakes everytime I step? Yeah, that's totally what my life was missing. Well...the terrorizing of the townspeople is kinda cool...but that's beside the point."
"Maybe you never knew it in your... now exeptionally large brain, but you knew it in your heart. I was only trying to help because I lo..."
"Don't! Say the "L"! Word!" Dawn said, voice shaking with either hate or resistance...it is hard to get that high up to tell. "Next time you want to read my heart, do me a favor, get permission! My heart is invitation only."

"What do you think we're doing...Hula dancing? I'm all talked out. I didn't call up Tahofrin and become a vengeance demon to pull a Dr. Phil and talk about my feelings. I want action! Now, Kenny. Do you want to see what a REAL vengeance demon can do?"
Dawn's face turned veiny and she chanted what sounded Romanian under her breath.
"I've heard Tricewises can't function very well with a soul, but you'll make it work, right Kenny?" Dawn shot a malicious look at Kenny as he braced himself against his fate. "Huh? Nothing's happening! OOhhh shoot. I can't perform an act of vengeance against someone who wronged me! I probably should have read the Guidebook for Young Vengeance Demons a little more."
Kenny let out a deep sigh "Whew. Dawn, now that you can't hurt me, can we..."
"Hold up. Who said I can HURT you? I can't do magic but I can.." Dawn said wickedly as she lifted her foot. Splat.
