“Cordy, what are you doing?”
Angel asked as he watched Cordelia throw things out of the fridge left and right. He was actually kind of scared to walk behind her, for fear of being hit by some random piece of food.
“I’m blood-proofing the house.”
“What? Why?” Angel asked, immediately regretting it. Cordelia can get very lengthy with her responses.
“Well, since you’re non-vampy, and therefore have no need for piggy blood, I thought I’d throw all blood products out. I mean, who wants to wake up in the morning all bright eyed, looking for a nice glass of OJ, then…WHAM! You take one whiff of that icky blood and your whole day is ruined!

“But what if I still like the taste of pigs’ blood?”
Cordelia looked confused for a moment then shook it off.
“That’s crazy vamp logic.”
“And I’m an ex- vamp! I mean, vampire. If I’m talking like you, we’re spending too much time together.”
“Yea. EX-vamp. Did you miss that little prefix? You’re human now, ever since you found that sword, killed the big Beastie and averted the apocalypse. One of the many, anyway. “
“Maybe, but you’re an ex-evil Beast Master.”
“Hey! You promised you wouldn’t bring that up again! That wasn’t me, that was my evil controlling hell spawn, or whatever. Thank God that’s over with. I was getting tired of wearing all of that black.”
