Ok! Culinarily talented lj'ers, I need help!!!!

Tomorrow, I'm going, at very short notice, to a party with neil's lab mates. I need a dish!! Salads, meat, and desserts have been thoroughly covered. Also, one of the attendees has a severe milk allergy (allergy, not lactose intolerance) - so I'm looking for something dairy free.

(I found this recipe more appetizing if I sandwiched the tofu between two pieces of either cucumber or thin sliced water chestnuts on the toothpicks.
