I went to a friend's going away picnic on Tuesday and sat in the public kiddie pool. I got the worst sunburn I've ever had, but I haven't had that many sun burns, so it's probably nothing much to bitch about. I also got some slimey flavourless chicken at a Chinese restruant.
Most importantly, I SAW FINAL FANTASY LAST NIGHT
I sat up front, in this old pretty church downtown. OPalz is so fierce! And so nice!
Behind me there was a tiny ginger kid who coloured through most of the show, but seemed to enjoy it. There was also a guy talking about Indian tacos and blowjobs all night. It was a really great crowd, for a Calgary show! HE PLAYED MY 3 FAVOURITE SONGS IN A ROW!!!
I hope he had a slumber party in Chad VanGaalen's old schoolbus/shed/istallation piece. I can totally see them making smores and playing truth or dare.
Tomorrow I have to get up early to register and then I have exams, and then I see The Summerlad, Malajube, Biz Markie, M5, Holy Fuck, Liars and the Breeders.
