Hrm.
Uhm, well, I'm not really into updating right now and I haven't got much to say except:
1.) Borat and The Prestige were HOT AS! They fell a bit short of my expectations but were mucho hot nonetheless. Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius, the character was great, but the plot and the film build up was a tad bit shoddy. The Prestige was good, not as great as the hype it generated, but good nonetheless. I feel bad sort of comparing Borat and Prestige as the latter doesn't even come CLOSE to comparing to Borat. But yeah, I was a bit disappointed in the use of characters and development of plotlines. Kulang lang siguro sa time, or they blew their budget on Bale, Jackman and DAVID BOWIE OMGWTFLOLBBQLASERSCUBA! However, Prestige will remain one of my fave movies as of yet.
2.) The Wrong Man and The Black Dahlia are definitely MUST WATCH(es)!!!! Augh, I can't be bothered to enthuse about these movies but I've deemed them "surprisingly good". The Wrong Man was a complete waste of Lucy Liu's talent (and talent fee) but eh, whatever.
3.) Max Brenner + Super Bass Car Speakers + After Work + 30min Drives + 1am = Freaked Out People + CrazyTiredChocowhores + Secrets + Noise.
4.) I'm on an update-my-phone project, which mainly involves "pimping" (yak, shoot me) my celepono because I've scratched it far too much and managed to liquid-ruin the earphones it came with. So far, I've bought an earphone adapter from Ebay, which turned out to be shoddy so I bought another from another seller. Shoddy adapter turns out to actually SORTOF work, but the seller sends me a replacement anyway. SO now I theoretically have 3 adapters. (These adapters enable you to use your normal 3.5mm earphones/headphones on your k750i.) I need to get rid of the spares, so if anyone's interested, give me a holler.
5.) I just shipped brand new Sennheiser earphones to azra_il because I realized they clashed with my phone. My phone's black, these earphones are white. With them, Pilot (my phone) looks like a fripping Nano-wannabe. Apple product? Not today, thanks. Hope the beetch gets them. *snarl* It's not really a waste of money if I consider it a Christmas present riiiight? o.O (Nicholas can't stop rubbing it in that I'm silly for having the need to color coordinate things.)
6.) I promise I'll update my Multiply soon okay? OKAY? Yayness.
7.) I got another job offer. Pays $20 an hour on Sundays, $14 on Wednesdays. WHOA compared to my other jobs. So definitely taking it.
8.) I bought The Fountain. It's apparently a tie-in to the movie, but it was disappointing because it came out as a mere marketing ploy. The art was beautiful, but somewhat irregular for me and the plot itself was hazy. Sure, it's a graphic novel and the contraints are more liberal. But just because it's "artsy" doesn't mean it has the right to rob readers of a decent story. Storywise, the graphic novel went PLFFFT. Still, I'd keep it on my shelf.
I should update more, but I'm seriously so TAMAD.
