I have no clue what that book is about, as I found the picture of it while searching for something completely unrelated to both snowmen and the author's name. I don't really want to know what it is all about though, because I'm imagining it as something of a romance book, and it probably isn't a book of that sort.
Funny you mention that True Life episode. I saw it, and it did make me laugh because I wasn't expecting Fall River to show up. I think True Life used to be a lot funnier a few years ago. Lisa and I will watch it when she doesn't want to watch something of interest to me and I don't want to watch something of interest to her. We won't watch an episode unless it seems like it will be highly amusing, but they have really become disappointing in terms of supplying laughs. Besides the fact that Fall River was the location of someone who is allegedly "too beautiful," that episode was a bore. The only really funny one I've seen in awhile was about people addicted to the internet. Two of the people weren't very amusing but the third one was quite hilarious/pathetic.
Also, while I'm here I should inquire about your whereabouts this summer and the availability of your house as a temporary holding pen during my 2013 Midsummer's Night Slam Massachusetts Tour.
As of this moment we'll be here for the duration of summer with the exception of a week or so at the beginning of August (around the 6th-14th) when we'll be in Newfoundland.
I'm going to reply to your reply about my poems soon, and then (maybe tomorrow morning), I'll start to read the new stuff you sent me. I feel very ambitious right now so I just had this idea. Maybe in the future you and I could publish a small zine of poems, with some of my drawings. I don't know.. I'm probably going to say this idea is stupid later on..but, it might be cool to do. The drawings have to be very vague and minimal though.. I don't want them to do anything other than gently accompany the poems.. Maybe think about it.. Maybe next summer, eh?
That sounds like a good idea. I'd be more than into working on such a project. I think it would be fun because both of us probably wouldn't feel bad about axing the idea half way through if it becomes more work than play.
