It's Tuesday night out here in the freezing Midwest, in this, the coldest, darkest part of the year. We hold ourselves with cheer by reassuring ourselves that the sun will return, and is, according to science, returning now. Perihelion aside, the sun is returning and staying just a little longer every day, like a friend who held a grudge getting the hell over it.
