[No sooner has it asked if Remy can reach the infirmary, Remy's there, looking a bit stressed.

He doesn't know what to say or do, and as such, holds his hand out to the robot. It looks worse than Remy does.

[Red lenses flash at Remy. It's a good thing AMU does not have facial expressions, for it is far too happy about this development.]

[His eyes widen a little with worry and he whimpers slightly]

It is not technically necessary for success of the operation. But it is quieter.

[Remy panics and flails and yells as his clothing is grabbed and he's pulled toward the table.

The robot doctor's words scare him, but not as much as the sharp scary things in the drawer. His flailing and screaming stops WHY WOULD A DOCTOR NEED THINGS LIKE THOSE!?!?!? WAS IT GOING TO USE THEM!?!? Clearly there is one option. Remy inhales, exhales and as calmly as is possible, gives AMU his decision.]

SEDATION! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME THE SEDATION!!!

[Were he able to think about it, he would be very glad no one else is around.]

[Disappointed robot is disappointed. But it takes out a hypo spray and administers it to the wizard's pale flesh.

When he is unconscious, it cuts away the dead tissue - the only way, since it does not have access to the appropriate genera of maggots. Remy's going to need a new hand, so it takes the appropriate DNA samples and starts a culture. Then the real work starts.

Remy will wake without a hand, but there will be pink healthy flesh both at the stump and anywhere else the gangrene had taken root. A set of typed instructions tied to his bandages (just in case he misses them) instruct him to return in 48 hours for attachment of his new hand. ♥ ]
