My Crib - The Chandelier

We started our search for a Chandelier about a year ago, and we been to countries - Paris, Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore and even Thailand. We wanted a chandelier that was unique and one of a kind. And when we saw this one day, we knew this was it.

I simply had to get it, I was even willing to fork out cash to buy it on the spot. This 1.8m diameter chrome chandelier with Egyptian crystals was a nightmare to transport. Korean designed - It had to be shipped from Korea to Singapore, and then a special cube crate of 2m was created to hang the chandelier in until it reaches Antwerp port, Belgium. And then transported to our home, to be hanged 6m up in the ceiling.

And now its finally hanging in our living room. We call it "The Light". As it has 72 halogen blubs, and several hundred crystals, this thing reflects and emits light enough to light up the entire house (and produce tons of heat).

This is a one of a kind chandelier, I'll give up being eco-friendly for this.

During the day.

Full glory at night.
