writers

i think most [good] writers, real writers, those who can't help but write, those who can't turn their minds off in the middle of the night, the ones who would die before put down that pencil or walk away from thay keyboard, suffer for their writing.

or they suffer because of it.

I was walking home from the bus today and I kept thinking about writing and my depression. Alex [not that he's a reliable source or anything. the only thing he is is an arse] tells me I enjoy my depression and I do it to be 'artistic.' Depression is a disease, I didn't know I could make that shit up.

But, I think too much and the writers I really look up, never lived very happy lives. The ideals writer is usually a loner, and an outcast.

Only I have nothing published and no one out there really knows my name, so why can't I get over it all and be happy?

Maybe writing's my addiction.

writers, writing, life, disease, depression
