Jared and Jensen fucking blew this one out of the water. They were AMAZING. Both of them managed to portray completely different characters and yeah, sure, they looked a little different, wore different clothes.
Like future!Dean, who actually wore more layers and managed to make it look hot. I have a huge thing for Dean and Sam just in their t-shirts, or the button-ups and the t-shirts, so future!Dean actually still managing to look hot? Even with all those layers? GUH. Maybe it was the scruff with the layers, I don't know, but he was just...
I had a point. Really. But future!Dean was so DIFFERENT, and he made our current-time!Dean look so...young, when I've been watching our current Dean through these past episodes and going, "God, our Dean is being weighed down and is getting so much older." And then they go and do this. Dear god, Jensen. Fucking awesome acting.
And then Lucifer!Sam? Holy shit. I've heard a lot of people talking about, "Oh god, the boy shouldn't wear white" and sure, you can have your opinions. But I totally thought he was hotter than hell, no pun intended. *raises hand* Anyone else? GUH. The shirt without the tie and the way it fit close and...
I had a point. Absolutely. And that is that as soon as he started talking, as soon as he tilted his head and spoke I knew it wasn't Sam. Not even with him stepping on future!Dean's neck and cracking it. He just turned and spoke and it was so un-Sam and I couldn't believe it. Holy crap. Jared fucking rocked it.
And then they went back and were Sam and Dean and I loved it.
Also can't leave out Misha because he was FANTASTIC. Oh my god, so much love from your minion (sorry, flunky, it's the weekend). The scruff and the hair and the SMILE. I'm sorry, but I could stand to see that smile a little more. Don't ever change should be amended to state don't ever change except to smile. *nodnod* Misha was beautiful in both, and I loved how different Castiel was except how very the same he was, too. There was still a remnant of the old Castiel in the future!Castiel.
Simply love. All sorts of love for this fantastic episode.
Can it be Thursday yet? Please? (Oh wait, actually, hold that thought. I've got a paper due that day...erm, hold off on the Thursday for a mo', would you? Actually, hold off on tomorrow, because I've got a midterm and a lengthy paper due tomorrow both at the same time so pleeeeeese don't let today end?)
