I don't have anything in the works for that market. I'd like to know a bit more about swords first.

good luck to both of you on your stories.

I'm still working on another Wizard Antho. story. See if I can come up with anything in time.

Good luck with your Wizard story! I don't know that much about swords, I'm just making it up! That's the fun part of fantasy :)

I think your knowledge of your flute and how you know its weight, its performance at a time of great need and how its made could easily transfer to a character's love and perhaps dependence on her sword.

How swords are made and by whom and if its dependent on a historical period etc., etc.

Plus a flute or sword that's less capable in battle can make the difference between a win or a loss, and as you know a good performer can make a bad flute sound great.

Wow, those are great points to consider. :) I once had Fenwick Smith (BSO) play my student flute and he made it sound beautiful. You are so right!

I read half way through the Book of the Five Rings in my twenties. It was popular then. I've been meaning to finish it soon. Maybe this summer.

I researched in how stuff works for a story and found the sword making article to be very interesting. I also watched a special on it.

There are so many incredible new ways of making flutes now with the tech to make them sound better than ever. I think I'll save up for one.
