Book Review: Tales of the Islanders by Charlotte Bronte
After the Bronte siblings Bramwell; Emily; Charlotte; and, Anne received toy soldiers as gifts, they made up stories about the figurines that Charlotte recorded in Tales of the Islanders. One can visualize encountering mythical creatures; saving a school from disobedient children with help from the little kings and queens; luxurious castles; and surviving eerie moonlight treks from an abundance of vivid details.
