Days 2 & 3 of 30 Days of Fanfic
First, here is the link to the original questions. I apologize for the confusion before.
Day 2 - Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
I guess technically Full House and Baby-Sitter's Club, though I never posted anything, as well as Harry Potter and Earth's Children. I've done drabbles and stuff for a few other fandoms.
I still write HP fanfic, but rarely post because... I dunno, it sort of feels like watching a movie I loved in high school, where I'm almost afraid to tell my HS friends I still watch it because I know they'll think it's silly and haven't I gotten over my silly nostalgic obsessions? :P I know this reasoning is silly though because a bunch of you still post HP fic, and I do read it even if I'm awful at remembering to comment. (Sorry!) It's not you, it's me. I am sort of writing an Earth's Children, fic - it's half fic, half original.
And this is really for Day 3, but I didn't see the point of waiting...
Day 3 - For each of the fandoms from Day 2, what were your favorite characters to write?
The only one I really wrote a lot of fanfic in was Harry Potter, and I tended to write Remus, Sirius and his family (Tonks, Andromeda, Bellatrix, etc). I also wrote an OC, though looking back I really needed a beta - she wasn't a Sue, she just didn't quite fit. I wrote the first half of an epic Alice Longbottom fic, and posted it, but I never finished the second half because how it was going to end would be too depressing. I had the same problem with Remus and Tonks after the seventh Harry Potter book - I had been writing this prequel to their relationship. I may finish one of my HP WIPs someday.
I'd love to write Zoe from Firefly, but I'm not sure I'd be able to get the "voice" right.
