I'm not completely sure how to summarize my thoughts on the season finale. But here are the ones I have, crossposted from the DW comm. SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT. I had thoughts about how Simone died. I half expect a demon to have killed her just to get her to be part of this experiment. I actually didn't pick up that it was her when they revealed it since it was Eleanor who checked. I thought they were originally saying that it was an ex-girlfriend of Eleanor and I initially treated it as more confirmation that she was bi.

I don't think that the judge is evil, I think she's just sort of clueless about how things work in the real world.

I hate that we have to wait so long to see more of this. I hate that the seasons are just 13 episodes long.

I wasn't sure. I thought it kind of looked like Simone, but it had been a few episodes and I'm terrible at recognizing faces. I figured it could go either way.

Me too. I also wish the episodes were longer. Or maybe just that the episodes were longer.

Hey, just now getting here after a couple weeks too caught up in work to do LJ AT ALL ... in NEED of some fandom time!!!

Anyway, totally agree re: Joss-style levels of emotional agony here :( That finale broke my heart, I ugly cried. :(

I am very curious about who Eleanor's person might be... and I wonder too about Simone's death, and whether or not it was outright murder on the part of the Bad Place folks. :/

Maybe the cheating is just what the Bad Place people DO, so shes not that fazed? I don't know... it does seem a bit biased in favor of the Bad Place at this point ...

The wait until the next season just feels unbearably long :(
