And behold, my childhood as told by the books I read.
Feel free to do something similar yourself! I'd love to see what other people come up with. Therefore, I'm making this public. :)
Cindy Lou Who and I learned to read together.
The Cat in the Hat made me laugh. ("Laugh" kind of rhymes with "cat" and "hat," right? No? Whatever.)
I went to school with Madeline, who was the smallest one - just like me. :)
Sometimes Little Miss Shy came, too.
Pippi and Mr. Nillson taught me that rules were made to be broken!
But the rules of friendship must always be kept.
(And don't be late for the meetings, or you'll certainly face the wrath of Kristin Amanda Thomas!)
Miss Zarves
I went back in time and met Elizabeth I when she was my age.
And Cleopatra, too.
Harry, Ron, Hermione and I suffered through 8th grade together.
I went to high school with Mia, except she didn't actually look anything like Ann Hathaway.
I met them, too; their words resonated with me.
Nathaniel Hawthorne's words just confused me.
I said goodbye to a lot of people my senior year of high school. I was saddest about him.
I'll never forget the friends of my childhood.
I won't forget my people friends, either.
