I dislike people who disregard or think lowly of Spam based upon their age difference.
People who say that Spammers can't really talk about other iffy ships.
Well, here's the thing - Sam/Spencer is a heterosexual relationship. No one has problems with those. Given that a lot of fics are future-fics, there is nothing illegal about it. The two know each other very well, and have spent time together and gotten along - no relationship was ever harmed by that. They are not related. No kinky incest to worry people.
So what's the problem again? ooooooooh. Their age. Right. I forgot. It's just always been in my mind that that's not a big deal because my best friend's mom and dad are ten years apart and happy, and I know a couple who actually are the age difference of "old enough to be my mom/dad" - and he is as old as her parents, actually...
and oh, RIGHT - I always go on how happy they could possibly make each other.
