There is a level of myopia that runs circumspect with living passionately invested in every moment of life. That myopia creates an unwillingness or apparent inability to plan the way out of trouble. I used to live that way and now days have to cheat responsibility to do so simply for the sheer selfish relish contained therein when amongst like-minded good company. My friends who live that way are my favorite friends to run with on occasion. I recently received an cell phone text message from one such dear friend. It reads:
1:43 AM
Fr: L_______ W________
So i miss u we need 2 talkmy
life is upside

I think having a tragedy such as the loss of a parent followed by an exceptionally large infusion of life insurance money can be a mixed blessing for anyone, or any family. Aforementioned friend lost her father tragically and the family became wealthier as a result. I wonder her thoughts on the matter. I hope she is safe, happy, and keeping peaceful.
