I wasn't really expecting a lot from this flick, it's a comic book film so its not exactly high art.
We got GREAT trailers though, which I would cheerfully have paid my money for without the film. At any rate, we were in a jolly good mood for the fillum.
"Daredevil" was, IMO, an inoffensive piece. It's not a keeper by any means, and while there were some nicely done cinematic shots (like the images comprised of rain drops and the sonar images), the film, on the whole, was a bit lacklustre.
There were many plot elements that were not explained away, that a throwaway line would have helped enormously. There was lots of 'woe' and 'angst' from the main character, who was reasonably likebale. Ben Affleck seemed a bit stressed out, although I confess he did a pretty believable job of being blind.
I dunno, it was an okay way to pass the time, but I'll not be bothering to snag this on DVD. Wait for TV release if you haven't seen it.
