Smiles
Who made you smile today? This has become a daily question that I ask myself. This question balances out all those stories of what went wrong today. This is the last week of school before break; Praise God! The students are already crazy and we still have 4 more days! Looking back on this half of the year, I am so grateful for where the Lord has placed me and who the Lord has placed me in the house with. Last night, we celebrated our house Christmas. Every single person in this house brings me so much joy and laughter! Every single person is so different and yet we all get along so well. I feel very much at home here. I love coming home and eating dinner with my housemates. They are each such a blessing.
The Lord has also blessed me with a dear friend here. The time that we spend together brings me so much joy and peace. He is constantly challenging me to grow in prayer and faithfulness to God's will. Our prayer times have truly blessed my daily life. It is so crazy to see how God has brought us together knowing what good friends we would make. He also just brings me so much joy. I could not have imagined a better friend; truly God knows us better than we know ourselves. This time of friendship has been so good for me, and I look forward to the years together.
