Messing With The System: poem

Messing With The System

Their screwing us over
Making the workers fall
And the slackers win
They need to stop making us crawl

A group of us were on the top
Now the classes don’t mean a thing
And I’m just another number in the crowd
Who isn’t “caring”

Their messing with the system
But I can play that game
I can give them a taste of their own medicine
And put their work to shame

I hope they understand
We won’t be satisfied
With a fourteen or forty-one
Which ever they will use as their lie

The system is going to crash
We can all start here
With writing a letter
To make them see what is clear

Their messing with the system
But I can play that game
I can give them a taste of their own medicine
And put their work to shame
