Well, this summer should be an interesting one. As many of you know, i'll be getting ready to go to the Mounain school next fall. I'll be in Vermont until mid December, but i'll try to keep in touch with everyone. So, this summer will pretty much be preperation for that trip. Since its quite a bit more expensive and i have to pay for my plane tickets and whatever i'll have to buy for the trip, i'll be needing a bunch of money. To do this, it seems that i may need to find employment. This isn't something that i am really looking forward to, but if i can find something that i enjoy, i guess it could be alright. I will be seeing if i can do refereeing because its flexible and i've heard that it pays pretty well. I'll also see if i can use my music teacher as a source for some connections in that business. Finally, i'll be going up to my local community center to see if i can do some summer camps (this one may be a longshot). If none of those work, i suppose i can keep looking, but i hope it doesn't come to that. Anyways, that will occupy most of my summer. That along with studying for the PSAT and the SAT. OH well.
Its tough knowing this will be the last time i see a lot of people until next January, so i'll try to keep in touch with whatever is going on at Lakeside. I hope i can hang out with a lot of people before i head off.
Its also hard to beleive that 1.) Its summer, and 2.) I will now be an upperclassman. Now school will matter more than it ever has.
Yesterday was really fun, hanging out in Bellevue Square and going to Madagascar. For anyone out there, its generally not a great movie but its worth seeing because there were points where i was laughing harder then i ever have before. Need to do that more often.
Post any job ideas, because if i want to do anything fun this summer, i have to have a job first. Thats all. See y'all next year
