Frilly skirts all around
I made the mistake of going to pick up Pluckers today. Holy hell, I forgot it is move in weekend for the new herd of students. I saw tons of white girls with tshirt ruffle skirts, tanks, flip flops, and name tags on. I guess going to find their friends at the sorority houses. SO so sad how they ALL looked the SAME. I admit i like the ruffle skirt style but it is so damn trendy that it makes me sick. It was like driving through the twilight zone. I kept seeing the same girl over and over!
I want to hide indoors today. I have so much work to do, but all the new students are registered and I'm focusing on filing away their paperwork and more importantly, their TA assignments. It's like a big puzzle. I like puzzles, thankfully. I have lists of all the courses and sections and I have to plug in students that are good for the job. This year only about 5 students failed the english assessment and this is good! That means most of our new students are ready to TA. I can tell this group speaks very well for just having arrived in the US. I'm so proud of them. Hee!
