So on Friday I decided that I would hang out with some friends before I took advantage of the privelege of working overnight. On my way home I started noticing that a lot of people in their mobile homes had already come into town and set up for the UF-Alabama game on Saturday. I took special interest while I was driving and I saw the lot chock full of them. What I didn't take special interest in was the road.. and the light. And to mkae a bad decision explained briefly, I ran a red light. We all do every now and then. I did it in the left lane of a three lane road.. and a cop in the right lane. This cop was stopped at the light though with a car in front of him. About 3 seconds after I go through the light, his lights flash on. Shit. I immediately pull into the first left turn lane at the next light about a quarter mile away, figuring I'll at least make it easy for the cop seeing as he is having a hard time getting by the guy in front of him at the light. Apparently it was hard enough for him to lose track of my car; unbeknownst to me. The cop preceeded to go through the light, lights flashing, and get into the middle lane. Now I'm sitting here, waiting for him to get into that left lane and give me that authoratative point to teh side of the road. No change into teh left lane. He gets about even with me in the center lane and then flips his lights off. I just experienced afibrillation, but somehow avoided a citation. Awesome. The Law 4. Austin 1. Glad it's no longer a shutout.
