Marketing Communications Specialist #08250
This is a 6 month (possible extensions) Contract position in Austin (78754). The rate is $19/hr.

Assists in the development of routine marketing communication materials required to support marketing plans and programs.
Assists with the maintenance of print, and electronic libraries for use in routine advertising, brochures, internet development, presentations and trade shows.
Assists in preparing routine reports and various documents to measure various sales and promotional communications effectiveness.
Assists in coordinating routine projects, such as trade shows, public relation events, and special promotions.
Assists with routine budgeting and project tracking for the Marketing Communications department.
Assists in the evaluation of supplier/vendor relationships.

Desired Skills:

· Successful candidate must have experience with electronic communications and web site development.
· Candidate will be responsible for working on company website, updating cutsheets and brochures and developing electronic training courses based on existing technical documentation.
· Candidate will also be assisting with development of automated campaigns with Marketing Automation tool and direct e-mail.
· Should have excellent skill in coding with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
· Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator.
· Experience with online training a plus.
· Degrees in English, journalism or computer science would be given preference.
· This is a hybrid job. The ideal candidate would have some web developing skills and a marketing background.
· The person should have experience in desktop publishing, graphics, layout design, etc.
