Except they didn't seem so much little as epic, and so it seems important to get them down.
Dream #1: Nawlins with CS and the cats
We went to Nawlins for vacation. It wasn't really Nawlins, but some sort of industrial/warehouse place with some history that my brain labeled Nawlins. We arrived at night. Think there was some sort of thing first, but when we checked in and went upstairs, I called all my cats to come upstairs 'cause apparently they came on vacation as well. Thomas came up. Puddy came up wearing a wedding veil that just trailed behind him. 2 other kitties came up - probably Hoshi and Buttercup, but it was Thomas and Puddy that really stuck in my head.
One thing I was happy about was, because it was so dark there at night (but enough ambient light to see where I was going), that I could go walk naked at night through the streets nearby the hotel. So I did, taking Thomas with me to cuddle. I had no fear I would run into anyone, and I really enjoyed it.
I think later that same night I wanted to do it again, but it was getting closer to morning, and I didn't feel I was as alone as I had been before. Also not sure if Tom was with me that time, so I quickly made it back to the hotel and hoped no one saw me.
Back in the room, which had a 1930's hotel feel but reminds me of the first hotel in Shanghai, CS says something that pisses me off. I try to keep a lid on it, but in the ensuing discussion, he brags that "This is one of the ways that I have a lead on you" in a very smirky, superior-and-knows-it dancing way. This makes me nigh-breakup angry. Somewhere after that the dream stopped. I think CS's real alarm went off (his new heater doesn't work, joy).
Dream #2: Secret Agent/Zombie-like Monster/Geek Chick
This is the more epic one. I am Secret Agent Guy. I am being instructed by the client how to break into this building to steal information. I receive a series of complicated codes to get up the elevator, plus nerve gas or something to knock out the guards and a schedule of where they all will be.
I drive to the what I think is the FBI building. Knock out security guy in parking lot, but do something to him to make his vital signs look like he's awake. Get in the door and do the same to the door guard. I make it to the elevator and start inputting codes. Silly me did not write them down, as I was sure I could remember them. I got the first half right, but was fuzzing on the others. I was getting frustrated and I knew the guards would up soon. In fact, I hear the first person notice the parking lot guard is stationary.
Then meta-me, meaning me the dreamer who is aware that I am dreaming, steps in and points out that a real secret agent would have written this shit down, so just assume that I/he did and keep going. That was weird.
So fine, I find it all written down in my briefcase, and up I go to the top floor (or close to it - the floors had codes instead of numbers) as the other guards start to scramble. I get there and walk to the huuuuuuuge meeting room. The right side is all Congress/jury in the 6th Star Trek movie and filled with...important guys who all had their own titles there to assist the chief guy at the end of the room behind his own desk. They see me because I'm just interested in speed and not stealth, and some of them have guns and start shooting. I/he dance nimbly to the far end of the room, take cover beside the desk and point a gun at the chief guy. I think I then start to get the data, but now POV has me back at the 1st floor elevators. The alarm has gone off, and whatever data they have is so important that their room's defense is to freeze the room. The screen asks if there is permission to freeze Chief X, gets a yes, then starts cycling through all the other guys in the room quickly, getting yes each time. Now POV is outside the room, where the clear glass windows and doors looking into the corridor start to quickly develop ice patterns. Everybody (except me) tries to get out because they don't want to be frozen as it hasn't been proven to be survivable.
Here I might have the order wrong a bit. POV goes to a small office in the building for 2 people, one of which is a 30ish smart brunette geek girl. She sees on monitors what's going on and knows she has the solution, so she sets off that way.
ITM, the men in the room shoot the frozen windows and get an opening. They begin to come out, but they get maybe 10 feet from the door and start to glow like an X-ray, with just bones and a nimbus, but they aren't human bones. I think the chief actually says "Oh no, I'm an alien skeleton" before he completely disintegrates. And yet the other men keep pouring out of the small opening, and the same thing keeps happening.
The geek girl arrives, goes inside the room while the guys keep going out, says she sees the problem, punches some buttons or something, and then slides out the room on her back on a piece of cardboard. No alien skeleton, so the few remaining men are going to be OK if they exit like that.
Scene 2: now we're out behind the chief's desk, whose large windows turn out to connect to a huge field on a sunny day, in that way that dreams do. Secret Agent Guy seems to have done his thing, so now I'm with Geek Girl. It's very quiet and peaceful in the meadows...except that there's this alien but human, zombie but alive, naked behemoth of a monster also out there.
There's a storage unit facility right in the middle of this meadow, and it's there that he catches her/me, coming up from behind and encircling her neck with an arm. He starts biting small bits out of her/my shoulder as I watch, telling her as he does that if he takes 5 bites, she'll live, but if he takes a 6th one, I die. He finishes with his 5th bit of my/her shoulder and leaves. I'm not sure if 5 will turn me into a zombie or not.
