i finally got around to making tandoori chicken - and godamn if it didn't turn out great
i was nervous, cause, you know, otherwise i'd be kicked out of india and stuff. But seriously, it tasted great - i had it all plattered out - two rounded half circles of basmati rice that ozzy made (with a dash of turmeric and 5 spice) with thinly sliced tomato on one side all fanned out, grilled onion rings fanned to the otherside, with the tandoori sliced at an inclined fanned on top, with toasted peanuts tossed on top. That and a red wine leftover from the party. Ozzy (a big fan of tandoori chicken) said it was as good or better than the stuff he got at indian restaurants in California. I think i turned a little gay tonight, i'm not going to lie. Sigh. Tandoori Chicken, check. Next up, Chicken tikka masala, and next....the world?
